Tile is the least forgiving flooring there is. Every decision — where the first tile lands, how the grout lines run — is visible for the life of the floor.
Good tile work begins before any adhesive is mixed. We set out the room, find the lines that matter, and plan cuts so full tiles land where the eye goes and cuts land where they belong.
Large-format tile in particular demands a flat substrate and consistent coverage underneath. Lippage between tiles is the most common flaw in tile floors, and it comes from preparation, not from the tile.
The finish is in the details: grout joint consistency, alignment through doorways, clean edges at walls, cabinetry and thresholds.
